29 gauge is the lightest and lowest cost, great for barns, sheds and many inland homes, with runs up to 22 feet. 26 gauge is stiffer and runs to 40 feet. In high-wind coastal areas the 26 gauge approval usually has the stronger rating; follow the Florida Product Approval for your wind zone.
40 colors
Go with bare Galvalume, a painted SMP finish, or Kynar 500 for the longest-lasting color. Kynar 500 is 26 gauge.
